Water was ponding across a flat roof during a night storm. The scupper drain was blocked; we cleared it with a drain machine and the roof drained the same night.

The problem
In heavy rain, water was building up across the flat roof and backing up at the scupper box instead of running off, with the risk of it finding its way inside.
What we did
- Went up on the roof at night, during the storm
- Opened the scupper box and found the blockage in the drain line
- Cleared the line with a drain machine until it ran freely
- Checked that the roof drained and the scupper stayed clear
The result
The roof drained the same night, before the water could get into the building.
